We
can't begin to thank Jan Briggs, of Keller
Williams, enough for putting together such a great night of fun and
celebration, raising over $45,000 for Forgotten Angels!
The weather was
perfect as everyone gathered around the big tent at the home of
Mac and Renee McGuire.
Rusty Coats, of the Throw Down Cookers prepared a scrumptious prime
rib meal while Pearland's own Mayor Tom Reid
greeted the crowd looking just like Mayor Penny Packer of Monopoly fame.
After dinner, State
Representative Randy Weber artfully coaxed the crowd into spending
over $18,000 on a variety of auction packages gathered up by
Donna Eckels, Auction Chair, and her team. Then
Nash 3,
great friends of Forgotten Angels, closed out the evening as only they can!

Everyone had a great time posing with Mayor Penny Packer in front of the
giant Pearland Monopoly Board! Zoom to see our sponsors and be sure to thank
them when you visit!

Forgotten Angels was founded in 2000 by Renee West
McGuire, a successful real estate developer, in response to watching friends
struggle to find help quality care for their severely disabled children. She
decided to open just one house to care for developmentally disabled
citizens, and quickly became overwhelmed by the need in the community.
Today, Forgotten Angels operates 15 group homes in the Pearland area and
assists many foster care providers, caring for over 100 individuals and
providing support to their families and care-givers.
