Forgotten Angels has a highly qualified direct care and administrative staff dedicated to providing excellent care and support of our clients.

Kris&Lisa

Julie Kelly – Executive Program Director

Dan Mugubi – Residential Manager

Mr. Mugubi has much experience with Forgotten Angels, serving as Direct Care Staff from 2002-2004, then as a House Manager/Quality Assurance from 2004-2006. In 2006 he took over as Director of Residential Care. He holds a Master of Arts degree in Behavioral Science from the University of Houston, a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from Nairobi University in Kenya and he is currently a PH.D candidate in Organizational Psychology at Walden University. From 1996-2000, he worked as a coordinator for a world food program in Kenya. 

Caroline Cheevers – Senior Case Manager

Multiple Certifications, including Dysphasia, Seizures, Sensitivity and growing older, Fire Safety Officer, Wheelchair transport, Restraint Instructor, by DMR from 2002-2007, with many others.  First Aid, CPR, CARE, & CIT

Ms. Cheevers has been a specialized Foster parent,  special education elementary assistant teacher, respite provider, personal care assistant in home health,  a Direct Care provider, Residential case manager, and a Site Manager and Program Director in New England, running programs for the dually-diagnosed, a Hospice program and a medically fragile program. She assisted in training surveyors for new programs and trained staff on seizure protocols, GTube tricks, and confidentiality (HIPPA) as well as many others. 

Ms. Cheevers has over 19 years experience working in the Special Needs population. She and her husband specialized in fostering children with multiple severe special needs. She has 4 special needs siblings and enjoys the challenge of working with people that make "specialists" scratch their heads. She loves being part of a team that keeps the client as their main focus.

Stacie Coligan –  Senior CASE MANAGER

Associates Degree - Applied Science

Previous Employee for Forgotten Angels for 6.5 years as a DCS
CPR, First Aid, PMBA Certified, Mental Health Certificate in Case Management
CAN and currently studying for Registered nurse certification.

Bill Teaff - Case Manager

Mr. Teaff recently joined Forgotten Angels, bringing his experience as QMRP at the Lufkin State School as well as years of experience as a Special Ed. Instructor at Devereux Treatment Center.  He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education from Steven F. Austin State University and a Master of Science degree in Education Administration from the University of Houston at Clear Lake.

Lisa Marino - Case Manager

Ms. Marino holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Lamar University as well as a Master of Science in Clinical/Community Psychology from Lamar. She completed graduate level internship as a counselor at Lamar's Mental Health Clinic and at the Beaumont Federal Bureau of Prisons. She also brings 6 years of volunteer experience with CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) as a case worker for abused and neglected children. She advocated on their behalf to find them safe and permanent placement. She is First Aid and CPR Certified.

 

kristina kersten – Private Pay Case Manager/Foster care coordinator/medical coordinator

Ms. Kersten joined Forgotten Angels in early 2009. She brings 2 years experience as a live-in caregiver to an Alzheimer's patient and 3 years as the front office supervisor at a neuro-psychiatric practice in the Texas Medical Center. She is certified in CPR, First Aid and Effective Case Management.

 

Seprina Wagner-Howard– Day Habilitation Director

Ms. Wagner-Howard comes to Forgotten Angels with seven years nursing experience with ICF/MR and HCS programs in addition to nine years of experience in military and psychiatric nursing. She holds an Associate Arts degree and Vocational Nursing and LVN certifications from Houston Community College as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies/minor in Psychology, from the University of Houston.

In addition, Forgotten Angels has many direct care professionals that provide loving care and support in our group and foster care homes and at our Day Habilitation Program.
