A partnership with the Tiedje family and
Millennium Development has led to a unique opportunity to open a Resale Shop
that will benefit Forgotten Angels for years to come! The Resale Shop opened
at 5096 Broadway in Westside Plaza at Broadway and Walnut
on September 1 with a one-time allotment of fine furniture,
housewares and art. As this large lot of furniture sells down, clothes, toys
and all kinds of useful items will be brought in and a permanent
Resale Shop will remain that will benefit Forgotten Angels, helping
to secure and enhance the future of our residents who are living with
developmental disabilities.
Forgotten Angels is accepting donations
of gently used clothing, furniture, toys, household items and other interesting things that you may want to pass on.
Unfortunately we cannot accept mattresses, torn or stained furniture,
electronics or items
that are subject to recall or that do not meet safety standards (see
www.cpsc.gov for details). A separate drop-off
location is open in the same shopping center at 5060 Broadway (next door to
the Cinema) that is open Tuesday through Saturday from 8:00 until 2:00.
Donations after 2:00 can be left at the resale shop until 6:00, or special
arrangements can be made by calling 281-785-0627. For questions regarding
things other than donations, please call the resale shop at 832243-6463.
